Nordic Web Conference on Homelessness

Event Description

‘Social support and housing for people experiencing homelessness’ is the theme for this web conference, which is held on behalf of the Nordic Council and targets all the Nordic countries. The conference conveys knowledge, experiences and solutions, in order that politicians as well as managers in local and national government, in NGOs, and in other social services in the Nordic countries can continue their efforts to reduce the number of citizens experiencing homelessness by offering effective interventions.

The Danish National Board of Social Services is organizing the conference under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Interior on the occasion of Denmark’s chairmanship of the Nordic Council. The conference is held in collaboration with Nordic experts in research and practice in the field of homelessness and offers an interesting and varied programme, which will contribute to mutual learning.

Due to Covid-19, the conference will be held online.

We look forward to learning more about homelessness, in Nordic community!
